Stephen Sitkoff, Criminal Defense and DUI Attorney
Los Angeles criminal defense lawyer Stephen Sitkoff is a partner that started his legal career as a deputy district attorney more than 37 years ago prosecuting cases at the Los Angeles criminal courts in downtown Los Angeles, Torrance, Compton, Van Nuys, Inglewood, Pasadena, Long Beach, Norwalk and Santa Monica. Between 1983 and 1994, Mr. Sitkoff handled a wide range of misdemeanor and felony criminal offense and specially prosecuted felony DUI and sex crime cases. Mr. Sitkoff is also a frequent lecturer at Bar Association sponsored legal education seminars and formerly served as an instructor for several local law enforcement training academies.
Due to his extensive legal knowledge and professionalism, Mr. Sitkoff was appointed to the judicial bench as a Commissioner of the Los Angeles County Superior Court in the 1994 to 1995 term. Only attorneys with at least 10 years of practice experience can be appointed to this judicial role and given the authority to make binding decisions in legal matters.
